Registering to vote is your right as a citizen.
It does not cost anything (although a 44 cent stamp is needed to mail in the form available online), nor does it obligate you to vote in this or any other election. But you can vote only if you are registered on time.
You may find it convenient to register as a “permanent absentee” voter. This will ensure that a complete ballot is mailed to you for each election. You can then vote by mail and don’t even need to go to the polls (sometimes those poll lines are long!).
Registration for the November 2nd election must be postmarked by October 18, 2010! [You must be at least 18 years of age on or before November 2, 2010 to register for this election.]

Alternatively, you can pick up and submit registration forms at any U.S. Post Office or at Seaside City Hall.
Or we will bring you a registration form. E-Mail us, use the contact form or call 831-393-1222 and someone on my staff will bring you a registration form.
